New posts have become scarce around here lately due to the holidays, but we'll see what we can do about stepping it up in the New Year, as we've got some great movies on deck - like Neil Marshall's The Descent, Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, and Guillermo del Toro's The Devil's Backbone (his Pan's Labyrinth is not playing in Rockford yet, so we have to make do with past glories).
We've been out to the movies to see Rocky Balboa (better than expected) and Black Christmas (bad - but in a good B-slasher movie kind of way); I've got the 1971 car chase movie, Vanishing Point, along with Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest, A Scanner Darkly and Tales from the Crypt Season 5 on the waiting-to-be-watched pile; and we've been playing a lot of XBOX 360 games lately, including Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas and Fight Night Round 3.
