Fight Club - 1/12/13

Every week, Brent, Tom, Colin & Travis gather in a subterranean lair somewhere beyond the walls of madness. A movie is chosen by one member of the group and after it is watched, the others debate the movie's merit for the entertainment of you, the listener.

This week, Tom chose David Fincher's Fight Club (1999).  The first rule of Fight Club is "You Do Not Talk About Fight Club", which apparently is true in more ways than one as our first recording was unceremoniously discarded by a tempermental recording program.  In the version that survives (which may be our most professional podcast yet!), we analyze the film's messages, and discuss whether the film would be able to be made today.  Plus, we talk about author Chuck Palahniuk, discuss David Fincher's oeuvre and opine about a select group of actors who lose themselves in a part.
